Austin and Monica had the next few years of their lives planned out. They were recently married and on their way into the Peace Corps.
They had sold everything they had, quit their jobs, and ended their lease. They were ready and excited about this new season of life.
Then the pandemic hit. And, their plans to be in the Peace Corps were canceled.
The problem was they had nothing: no job no place to live. They were starting from scratch.
The Journey from Virtual Assitant to Web Design Agency
Their journey to building a web design agency wasn’t a straight path. They started working in senior care but quickly grew tired of not seeing each other. SO, they started working online as virtual assistants.
AND, they were fairly successful at it even though they had only just started. The problem was they hated the work.
That frustration led to them eventually working to build a web design agency, and from there, they’ve never looked back.
In this episode of the Self-Made Web Designer podcast, I chat with Austin and Monica about their journey AND how they maintain a healthy relationship as a married couple while working together in their business.
It was a great chat and I know you’re gonna get a lot out of it.
