One of the first questions that comes to mind after you’ve had a bit of success as a freelance web designer is:
“How big can I build this thing?”
It’s pretty easy to get sucked into grandiose daydreams of having a full staff of employees, maybe an office, and best of all plenty of money to go around.
Then reality calls you back to Earth.
You realize that getting bigger isn’t as easy as you thought it would be. The bigger you get the more you face the not-so-easy tasks of:
- Hiring the right people
- Figuring out the right systems
- Finding the right clients.
In other words, “mo money, mo problems.”
Scaling Your Web Design Business
That’s what this week’s guest, Anthony Tran, faced when he first started freelancing as a web designer.
He pushed his freelance web design business as far as he could on his own and almost burned out in the process.
Then he decided to make some changes. Those changes not only allowed him to keep going but to grow his web design business bigger and bigger.
His Method
What did he do?
He found some really unique ways to automate his processes. Things that used to take tons of effort and precious time away from him were now all taken care of with an email funnel.
He also learned how to find people to help him and delegate tasks he didn’t necessarily need to be doing.
The great news is he’s sharing his secrets with us on this episode of the Self-Made Web Designer Podcast.
