I've learned so much about best practices as a web designer on Upwork.
I've made over $80,000 from projects I found on the platform working an average of 20 hours a week in a few short years.
I hope to teach you everything I know to be a successful freelance web designer. I take so much joy in knowing that my journey might be able to help someone out there.
Imagine yourself one day being featured on an advertising campaign in Times Square. Wouldn't that be amazing?
So, let's get started.
What this means for you
That's why when I learned I was going to be featured in one of their biggest advertising campaigns I was beside myself.
It was a validation of the hard work and late nights.
Upwork launched this campaign in 2018 when they decided to go public as a company. They featured some of their highest ranked freelancers, those who had inspiring stories and I had the honor of being included.
They launched the campaign in the middle of Times Square!
Upwork has been a huge part of my success as a freelance web designer. They've provided me with opportunity I'm certain I wouldn't have had otherwise.
In case you're unfamiliar with Upwork:
Upwork is a platform made to help clients find freelancers. If you have a job that someone can do online and want a reliable person to help Upwork is THE PLACE to find them.
There are over 16 million freelancers from all over the world eager to help.
I began working on Upwork when it was called O'Desk.
It was tough at first and not always a walk in the park but eventually Upwork became my main source of leads for web design projects.
Reading that email brought me to tears.
It was only 4 years before this that my world had turned upside down.
